This section lists the HSCS service focal point error codes.

0001 Unable to access RMC to obtain serviceable events.
  1. The management console could not retrieve the serviceable events. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.

0002 Unable to process request.
  1. The management console could not process your request to make changes to the serviceable event. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. If the error persists, contact your next level of support.
0003 Unable to update the attribute on the serviceable event.
  1. The management console could not process your request to make changes to the serviceable event. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. If the error persists, contact your next level of support.
0004 Unable to locate the serviceable event to update.
  1. The management console could not locate the serviceable event you are trying to view or update. It might have expired or otherwise been closed.
  2. Exit the Select Serviceable Event dialog and retry.
0005 Function failed: Error occurred attempting to display a Serviceable Event window. The management console was unable to locate or launch a window you have requested. This is an internal management console error.
  1. Perform backup critical data task.
  2. Contact your next level of support.
0006 This serviceable event might contain more information that this version of the management console can display. You might want to upgrade your management console to the latest version. In order to see serviceable event data made available in more recent management console versions, upgrade this management console to the most recent version or switch to an management console that has already been upgraded.
0008 Function failed: An error occurred when retrieving machine names.

0020 Function failed: An error occurred when launching the service focal point settings window.

0022 Function failed: An error occurred when updating service focal point settings.

0023 Function failed: Error occurred processing button for the service focal points window.

0026 Service focal point settings have been saved successfully.  
0040 New FRU location code and part number must be entered. Enter the requested location code and part number.
0041 A new FRU part number must be entered. Enter the requested part number.
0042 There was nothing to apply. There were no changes to the FRU list to be added to the serviceable event.
0043 The No FRUs to Update box was checked but there are updated FRUs in the pending table. If there are no FRUs to update, remove the ones from the pending table. If you want to update the FRUs from the pending table, uncheck the check box.  
0044 The No FRUs to Update box was unchecked and there are no updated FRUs in the pending table. If there are no FRUs to update, check the check box to indicate this.  
0045 Function failed: An error occurred when updating FRU information for the serviceable event.
  1. Not all functions might be operating. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. If the error persists, contact your next level of support.
0046 Function failed: An error occurred when attempting to remove an item from the list.
  1. Not all functions might be operating. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. If the error persists, contact your next level of support.
0047 Function failed: An error occurred when attempting to close the serviceable event.
  1. Not all functions might be operating. Wait and try the previous function again.

0048 Function failed: An error occurred when adding FRU information for the serviceable event.

0060 Cannot change state from unknown for the machine. The requested machine state is not allowed at this time. Close and then restart the enable and disable windows for updated machine information.
0061 Insert scratch diskette number {0} of {1}. Insert a scratch diskette and select the appropriate button.
0062 Insert DVD cartridge and press the {0} button. Insert a formatted DVD cartridge and push the appropriate button.
0064 No extended error data available. Select a serviceable event that has extended error data associated with it.
0065 Error writing to diskette: {0}. Ensure there is a diskette in the diskette drive. Try the operation again.
0066 Error writing to DVD cartridge: {0}. Ensure there is a formatted DVD cartridge in the DVD drive. Try the operation again.
0067 Error reading extended error data: {0}.
  1. Not all functions might be operating. Wait and try the previous function again.
  2. If the error continues, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. If the error persists, contact your next level of support.
0068 Error creating temporary file: {0}.
  1. Verify that the removable media is correctly inserted in the drive and try the operation again.
  2. Try the operation with different media.
  3. Run PC Doctor to determine if there is a problem with the hardware.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
0069 Error writing to temporary file: {0}.
  1. Verify that the removable media is correctly inserted in the drive and try the operation again.

0101 Error writing to DVD cartridge. Ensure there is a formatted DVD cartridge in the DVD drive. Try the operation again.
0102 Error unmounting DVD cartridge after writing data successfully. Ensure that there is a formatted DVD cartridge in the DVD drive. Try the operation again.
0103 DVD drive is already mounted.  
0104 The LED request did not complete successfully.
  1. Retry the task.
  2. Log out and then back in to the management console interface.
  3. Shut down and restart the management console.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
0105 The LED request completed successfully.  
0106 Function failed: An error occurred attempting to display the LED Management window.
  1. Retry the task.
  2. Log out and then back in to the management console interface.

0122 Function failed: An error occurred attempting to display the Hardware Services window.

0123 The System Attention LED for the selected machine is not supported. The system LED will not be activated.  
0124 The Identify LED for the selected FRU is not supported. The FRU LED will not be activated.  
026A The specified managed system name {0} is not valid with the specified IP address {1}. The managed system cannot be removed. Specify a valid managed system name and a valid IP address. Then try the request again.
026B Cannot find a managed system with the specified name {0}. Verify the specified system name. Specify a valid managed system name and try the request again.
026C The request to add a new managed system with IP address {0} failed. Verify the specified IP address. Specify a valid IP address and try the request again.
026D Lock type {0} is not valid for the managed system.
