MAP1160 Query, start, or stop the CIM agent

This procedure describes how to display or change the CIM agent state.

About this task

The Common Information Model (CIM) agent must be enabled if the customer requires the CIM agent function.

Procedure

To display or change the Common Information Model (CIM) agent:
  1. From the navigation area, click HMC Management.
  2. In the right work area, go to the Storage Server HMC Tasks section and click Start/Stop CIM Agent.
