MAP1214 Run CdaPreVerify

Perform the procedure in this section to run the CdaPreVerify utility.

1. Run the CdaPreVerify utility.
   1. From the navigation area, click Updates.
   2. From the right work area, select the radio button for the existing storage facility. The bottom Task area displays a list of tasks you can select.
   3. From the bottom Task area, click Run CDA Preverify.
2. Does the storage facility contain more than one SFI?
   Note: Models 951 and later do not contain more than one SFI.
   • Yes, an Action Panel window displays a list of SFIs. Go to the next step.
   • No, go to step 4.
3. Select one or more of the SFIs that you want to verify. Click OK.
4. When a message is displayed, click the OK button.
5. The Action Panel (CdaPreVerify results) window is displayed. It contains a log of information. Maximize the window to make it easier to read the log.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the log.

   Which message is at the bottom of the log?

   • ### Passed full system scan by SFI ###, the CdaPreVerify scan showed no errors. Return to the MAP that sent you here.
   • ### Failed full system scan by SFI ###, find the error message(s) in the log. Repair the condition(s) that caused the verify process to fail. Normally, before you can install the LIC code update you must resolve all error conditions.
