A current sharing fault has been reported for one or more primary
power supply (PPS) power boundaries.
About this task
A current sharing fault occurs when multiple power supplies provide
power for the same load and one of the power supplies is not providing a reasonable
share of the current to the load. The power boundaries that do current sharing
are as follows:
- Main 5/12V DDM power module for
both PPS
- Optional 5/12V DDM power module for
both PPS
- Main 208 VDC module for both PPS
- Optional 208 VDC module for both PPS
A current sharing fault can be caused by a failure in the power supply
but can also be the result of the supply being disconnected from the load.
