MAP2210 Power failure not isolated

Serviceable events for power system problems should present with a system reference code (SRC) of BE19xxxx. When the SRC is BE18xxxx, it means that problem analysis was not able to define a failure case from the content of the error logs.

MAP2210 Section-1

Procedure

  1. Does the serviceable event that sent you here contain SRC = BE188127?
    • Yes, go to step 2.
    • No, go to step 4.
  2. Just before this serviceable event was created, did the storage facility power on after a power off state?
    • Yes, go to step 3.
    • No, go to step 4.
  3. The error event BE188127 is common during a storage facility power on when the CEC enclosures start up before the management console (HMC). This is not an error condition, so exit this MAP and close this serviceable event. If the error was caused by something else, a new serviceable event will be created.
  4. Contact your next level of support.
Note: The next level of support can use the last four characters of SRC BE18xxxx, which is the error symptom code (ESC) from the AIX error log, as a reference to determine the possible failure and recovery action.
