About this task

DA cards work in pairs to provide redundant access through the FC-AL cable to the storage enclosures. The repair of the first DA card was successful. During the FRU verification cable check routine the one or more FC-AL cable-related problems were found and the partner DA card cabling check was not performed.

Procedure

  1. The physical location code of the partner DA card is listed in the FRU list of the serviceable event that sent you here. Display open serviceable events.
  2. Repair any serviceable events that lists the partner DA card or any FC-AL cables connected to the first DA card or partner DA card. If there are no related serviceable events, contact your next level of support.
  3. Exit this procedure.
