MAP4A10 Code update error during acquire

Acquiring the code to be loaded onto the HMC detected a problem.

MAP4A10 Section-1

Procedure

  1. Can you log into the HMC?
    • Yes, go to the next step.
    • No, exit this MAP and isolate the failure to login.
  2. Find the SRC in Table 1 to determine the repair action.

    SRC Description Action
    BE9C2080 Code update process lost communication with the management console. Go to step 3.
    BE9C2081 Acquired failed due to internal error. Contact your next level of support.
    All other SRCs. Not an expected condition. Contact your next level of support.
  3. Do the following steps:
    1. Log out from the HMC
    2. Log into the HMC
    3. Restart the code update acquire process. If it fails, contact your next level of support.
