The system has detected that a processor chip is missing from the system configuration because JTAG lines are not working.

Before you begin

Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Exchange Parts. If the FRUs are listed in this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.

Procedure

  1. Replace the CEC enclosure service processor card using symbolic FRU SVCPROC.
  2. Perform a slow boot. See MAP4820 Performing a slow boot of a CEC enclosure.
  3. Does the problem persist?
    • Yes, continue with the next step.
    • No, this ends the procedure.
  4. Perform the following for each system processor until the problem is resolved:
    • Replace one CEC enclosure system processor card at a time using using symbolic FRU ANYPROC.
    • Perform a slow boot after replacing each processor.
