The HAPORT is a port on a DS8000 host adapter.
About this task
HAPORT is a symbolic FRU that displays the location code for a single port on a host
adapter. The FRU location code of the HAPORT entry is in the format
Uffff.rBn.sssssss-P1-Cx-Ty, where:
- Uffff: I/O enclosure feature type
- rBn: rack and bay number of the I/O enclosure
- sssssss: serial number of the I/O enclosure
- Cx: adapter slot within the I/O enclosure
- Ty: port number within the host adapter
The host adapter port is not a FRU. Any repairs are performed against host adapter Cx.
