This section describes how to use service documents.

1. Check all open serviceable events. If you find any events related to the failure that sent you here, pay attention to the System Reference Code and any FRUs that are listed.
2. Do you have multiple related serviceable events that were created in the same time frame?
   • Yes, continue with step 3.
   • No, see System reference codes overview for the SRC you have.
3. Use the following tables to assist in the prioritization of repair actions.
   • For models 941, 951: see Table 1.
   • For models 961, 98x (980, 981, 982, 983, 984, 985, 986, 988): see Table 2.

   Note: The items listed in the table are in priority order. Start at the top and perform the action that first meets the combination of serviceable events identified in step 1.

   Serviceable Events Contain:	Action
   SRC 1xxx xxxx and one or more of the following SRCs: B7006981, B7006982, or B7006992.	Follow the repair actions for the serviceable event that contains the SRC 1xxx xxxx. After the repair is complete, use the MAP4E20 RIO Topology tool to verify that all RIO problems are resolved. Close all related serviceable events.
   Both SRC B7006982 and SRC B7006981. FRU lists contain common FRUs.	Follow the repair actions for the serviceable event that contains the SRC B7006981. After the repair is complete, use the MAP4E20 RIO Topology tool to verify that all RIO problems are resolved. Close all related serviceable events.

   Other cases	For each SRC listed, see System reference codes overview for the SRC you have. Look for common FRUs and replace those first using the Exchange Parts Menu. See MAP1230 Replace a FRU without using a serviceable event for more information.
