Reinstalling the right side cover on the rightmost expansion rack

About this task

In an earlier step, you removed the right side cover from a rack. Install that cover on the rightmost expansion rack.

Procedure

  1. If dual-lock fasteners are not present on the right side of the rightmost expansion rack, install the fasteners that you removed from the storage facility earlier. Otherwise, store the fasteners and screws in the document enclosure at the rear of Rack-1.
  2. If a side cover mounting bracket is not present on the right side of the rightmost expansion rack, install the bracket that you removed from the storage facility earlier.
  3. If the expansion rack has extension hardware, install the right side (viewed from the front) extension panel cover over the extension panels. Secure the top with the M4 screws (removed with it earlier).
  4. Install the right side cover on the rack - this fits over the extension panel cover. Secure with screws. The screws that are used to secure the side cover were removed with the panel in an earlier step.
  5. Go to the next section.
