Explanation
Enclosure feature code and/or serial number not valid.
Platform Licensed Internal Code detected invalid VPD
(feature code and/or serial number) for a System or I/O Enclosure.
The invalid VPD may prevent the use of Concurrent Maintenance on any
FRU in the enclosure and prevent hardware errors from being reported
correctly, so it should be fixed at the next opportunity.
Response
Look at the FRU callout list in the serviceable events view for the
B7005603 SRC to obtain the location information which contains the
invalid feature code and/or serial number.
Note: This SRC does not require a service action if the location
information is "U####.###.#######".
Next, find the System or
I/O enclosure associated with this location, and locate the enclosure's
physical label which contains the correct feature code and serial number.
Depending on whether the invalid VPD is for a System or I/O Enclosure,
use the procedure below to correct the VPD.
