Section-24, Installing the I/O enclosure (IG3/1G4) on the rails and installing the front bezel

Procedure

  1. Locate the I/O enclosure in Box 7 of 10.
  2. Ensure that the white inventory label at the top front of the enclosure has I1-G3/G4.
  3. Read this step completely before installing the enclosure on the rails.
    1. The I/O enclosure rails have a bent-over flange Callout label 1 near the rear which the I/O enclosure Callout label 2 slides beneath.
    2. When the I/O enclosure is sliding back on the rails, hold up the front of the I/O enclosure Callout label 3 enough to allow the rear to slide under the flanges.
    3. Install the enclosure on the rails, slide it fully in, and secure with screws in hole Callout label 5. See Figure 2.

  4. Locate the I/O enclosure front bezel in Box 7 of 10.
  5. At the front, install the bezel with screws in hole Callout label 3. See Figure 2.
