Section-7, Installing the lower UPS (E62) on the 4U Rails

Procedure

  1. Locate the UPS (E62, lower) in Box 2 of 10. The screws to secure it and the UPS cable tie bar are in Box 1 of 10.
  2. Ensure the location label on the top front of the UPS enclosure is E62 (lower). See Figure 1.

  3. The left and right 1U side rails  1  are pre-installed on the UPS. See Figure 2.

  4. Install the UPS on the lower half of the rack 4U rails. Slide it fully in and secure the front with one screw at each side. See Figure 3.

  5. At the rear lower left, install the mainline power cable retention bracket with one screw in the lower hole. See Figure 4.

  6. At the rear lower right, install a screw in the lower hole. See Figure 5.

  7. Install the lower UPS power cable tie bar Callout label 2 using one screw Callout label 1 at each end. See Figure 6 and Figure 7.
