HSCL 01xx

This section lists the HSCL 01xx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

Error codes Message Recovery action
01F7 Unable to get the current time from the managed system.
  1. Rebuild the managed system. See MAP6620 Rebuilding managed system information for details.
  2. Try the task again.
  3. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
01F8 This property cannot be altered.  
01F9 Could not create managed system instance in object manager.
  1. Try the task again.
  2. Shut down and restart the management console.
  3. Try the task again.
01FA The managed system is already powered off. The managed system was already powered off before your attempt to power it off. No action is required.
01FB The number of parameters is incorrect. Specify a different value.  
01FC The parameter specified is not valid. Specify a different value.  
01FD Power on failed. Try again.
  1. Retry to power on.
  2. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
01FE The managed system is already powered on.  
01FF Could not rebuild. Shut down and restart the management console.
  1. Retry the task.
  2. If it fails again, shut down and restart the management console.
  3. Check the state of the managed system. Refer to MAP6650 Correcting the CEC enclosure operating state and perform the appropriate procedure to put the managed system in the correct state.
  4. Try the task again.
  5. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
