MAP0280 Console and Keyboard Problem Resolution

This is an unexpected SRN for the storage facility. The storage facility does not have a console or keyboard attached to the CEC enclosure. The CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly might have an error that is reporting as a console or keyboard problem.

Before you begin

Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Exchange Parts. If the FRUs are listed in this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.
Important: All storage facility repair activity should be started from Start here. If you have not started from that procedure, go there now and start from the section Analyze and repair problems. If you did start from that section and the analysis procedures produced an SRN, follow the steps below.

Procedure

  1. Are there any open serviceable events related to the failing CEC?
    • Yes, fix the related problem; then return to the procedure that sent you to the SRN list.
    • No, go to the next step.
  2. Replace the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly. See Exchange the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly.
