The DIMM FRU that was called out failed to correct the memory error.

Before you begin

Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Exchange Parts. If the FRUs are listed in this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.

Procedure

  1. Replace the CEC enclosure system processor card that the memory DIMM is plugged into using symbolic FRU MEMBRD.
  2. Perform a slow boot. See MAP4820 Performing a slow boot of a CEC enclosure.
