Ground jumper check

Follow the steps in this section to check the ground jumpers.

Go to the section for the rack you are installing:

Section-1 Ground jumper check for Model 941, 94E

Verify that a yellow and green ground jumper is installed between each primary power supply (PPS) and the frame. See Figure 1
Note: There should be a star washer between the ground jumper terminals at the frame and PPS.

Verify that the ground jumpers are installed between each battery module enclosure and the frame . See Figure 2.
Note: There should be a star washer between the ground jumper terminals at the frame and enclosure.

Verify that the ground jumper is installed between the 208V distribution assembly and the frame . See Figure 2.
Complete the safety inspection by going to Safety engineering changes.

Verify that a yellow and green ground jumper is installed between each primary power supply (PPS) and the frame. See Figure 3.
Note: There should be a star washer between the ground jumper terminals at the frame and PPS.

Verify that the yellow and green ground jumpers are installed between each PDU and frame. See Figure 3.
Note: There should be a star washer between the ground jumper terminals at the frame and enclosure.
Complete the safety inspection by going to Safety engineering changes.

Verify that a yellow and green ground jumper is installed between each DC-UPS and the frame. See Figure 4.
Note: There should be a star washer between the ground jumper terminals at the frame and enclosure.
