Procedure
| Power symptom | Description and action |

| The storage facility will not power on when in zSeries power mode. | Description: If the Local/Remote switch card is set to Remote and zSeries power control mode has been set at the management console, the storage facility should power on when the remote power control connection requests to power on. Action: go to MAP2150 Storage facility will not power on from zSeries host. |
| The storage facility will not power off when in zSeries power mode. | Description: If the Local/Remote switch card is set to Remote and zSeries power control mode has been set at the management console, the storage facility should power off when the remote power control connection requests to power off. Action: go to MAP2140 Unable to power off from a System z host system. |
| An Identify LED indicator is flashing. | Description: While a repair is action, the Identify indicator for a FRU is set to flash. When the repair has been completed, the indicator is switched off. Action: go to MAP2160 Power system Identify LED failure. |
| An Identify LED indicator is off. | Description: While a repair is active, the Identify indicator for a FRU is set to flash. When the repair has been completed the indicator is switched off. Action: go to MAP2160 Power system Identify LED failure. |
